iPod Touch

The iPod touch is quite amazing, really. My sister got hers today and I'm really impressed. I'd definitely invest in one if I had the money, especially because my mp3 player broke.

Sunday Night

I hate Sunday nights. I hate them with a burning passion deep in my soul.

Friday was a definite ten out of ten. I went to a Muse concert, and they are, in a word, awesome. Especially live. It just makes you appreciate their music on a whole other level. Matthew Bellamy is amazing. So, despite the fact that my already deteriorating voice was made worse by the constant second hand smoke, it was a pretty freaking awesome night.

Now it's Saturday night at almost ten o'clock and I've barely started on my homework. Where did those wonderful study habits I had at the beginning of the year go? I knew it was too good to be true. I guess I should be doing my English homework instead of typing in this useless blog. Oh well, when was I ever the good student? I disappoint myself sometimes.

P.S. My Sansa broke, and I'm not as much angry as I am sad, so if any of you lovely people would like to donate, I'm hereby establishing the Nicole An Sansa fund. A new model is coming out next month (and of course it breaks right between when the warranty expires and the new one comes out--they plan it, I swear. I mean, the warranty expired in the beginning of September and the new one comes out in October? They're out to get me.) so be generous!

Mi Fin de Semana

So, this weekend was pretty nice. I didn't have a lot of homework. I spent some time with friends, some with family. It was nice. I saw David Choi the YouTube celebrity at Amerige Heights. I drank boba several times. I played my wonderful guitar. I played the piano. I slept. I ate. A lot. It was nice.

School Days

School is exhausting. Based on these first couple weeks, I'm sure I'll be even more deprived of sleep than I've been in years past. Plus, I'm doing this new thing called "trying in school" and that kind of takes up a lot of time. Despite the energy draining feature most of my classes posses, I guess I can't complain too much; all my teachers range from bearable to enjoyable, which is more than I can say for last year.

I went to Disneyland on Saturday and visited attractions that I usually don't. I rode "It's A Small World" (how do you punctuate the names of rides/attractions?) and I am somewhat pleased to announce that the representation of South Korea in that ride has increased at least two hundred fifty percent. Yes, there are now five Korean animatronic figures instead of two. And I say "at least" because now instead of being awkwardly placed in the corner, they're out in the open where everyone can see them. Exciting? Kind of. It's not that big of a deal, but I found it amusing.

On the topic of Disney: Vanessa Anne Hudgens, you are a very stupid person. It's kind of old news, I know, but really. You were stupid enough to go out with Zac Efron, who is extremely feminine plus he looks like he's had plastic surgery which only adds to his femininity, but this? This is just plain idiotic. I guess I'm being to mean, huh? Well, at least we know Zac Efron's a keeper! I mean, only the perfect guy would need naked pictures of his girlfriend to convince him to stop flirting with a mutual friend! Gee, it's too bad that not all guys are like that.

Miley Cyrus, you just seem to be getting trashier and trashier day by day.

What Should Be.

Today, my family went down to San Diego to spend the day there. We were sitting in a Starbucks, and my sister made a comment that I totally agree with. There was a girl there with her parents, and she was wearing a Paul Frank t shirt, carrying an O'Neill purse, and making sure her Tamagotchi was fed. My sister looked at her and said, "Now, that's how little girls should be."

I completely agree. One hundred percent. Girls in junior high and elementary school shouldn't be worried about designer bags and how much their clothes cost. I mean, it's fine to have nice things, but a twelve year old girl had no business carrying around a Coach purse. She should be more concerned with the welfare of her digital pet than if she has any new text messages. All the influence of the media is seeping into kids younger and younger. I mean, little kids? they're fine playing with a ten dollar marble chute, they don't care all that much--as long as it's fun.

I'm done ranting for today. I'm TIRED. Can you believe I fell asleep at nine o'clock last night? I did. And I slept until ten this morning because my sister woke me up. School is the bane of my teenage existence.

First Day

Today was the first day of school. I'm tired. I have homework. I don't want to do it. I will. I did half. I have to wake up early tomorrow. I want to die.

The End Is Here

Oh man, school starts tomorrow. I can't believe it. It kind of snuck up on me. But the start of school didn't just sneak up on me and then jump out to scare me. It felt more like it jumped out and then stabbed me in the face.

I hate you, Mr. Zero Period.
